  • @Crystal Bruce Assigned Solicitors- use it to work with fundraisers.

  • @Crystal Bruce My go to query is “New Gifts to Verify”. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to run the query, but now that I found that, it seems to work well. It will take a little bit of adjusting, but looks good so far.

  • @Crystal Bruce my go-to Query first thing every day is “New Constituents”, using “Date added” equals <specific date>. I run this to check for accuracy, formatting and to make sure all fields that we use are populated. We do a lot of personalized emails through NXT so if the nickname/preferred name field is blank the email will say “Dear <preferred name>”. That's a no-no!

  • @Crystal Bruce current parent giving

  • @Crystal Bruce
    Giving Query - Yesterday/this week

  • @Crystal Bruce Weekly, I run a query of all gifts entered for the week.

  • @Crystal Bruce My go-to query in Webview is my fundraiser credit verification list that help me make sure all my fundraisers are getting the proper credit on the gifts they are attached to. I love Webview and am really happy to see query here now

  • @Crystal Bruce The most common query I run in WEB view is ‘Gifts Added Yesterday’. I have this query to check what was entered by the Gifts team the previous day. We often have Queue failures that are scheduled to send our data to FPM. This is a quick way for me to pick out someone who has a gift entered yesterday. I use it to verify that the data send process to FPM worked correctly.

  • @Crystal Bruce I ran the DB - Blank Informal Addressee query to locate records missing this data. The query seems to run faster in web view so that's good since addressee/salutations are an ongoing cleanup in our organization. I also ran DB - Combined Addressee Incorrect and cancelled it to see how long that would take. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it would cancel.

  • @Crystal Bruce I ran a constituent query for an upcoming appeal. Worked well-- very similar to Database view!

  • @Crystal Bruce I don't know that I have a go-to query in web view, but maybe our giving societies are most queried on for me. I default to web view for anything that I end up uploading a lot of IDs for since the number you can paste is much much higher and getting a number tends to be faster

  • @Crystal Bruce My most commonly used query is one to pull fund information. The output is used to merge with our non-Blackbaud accounting system to look for any mismatches between the two. My overall experience with the web view query has been great!

  • @Crystal Bruce My most used query is A Gift Transaction Current that I use to identify recent gifts, both online and manually input. It is very useful but to best use it, I also run an export using that information so that I can see the gifts by household with multiple columns for multiple gifts. The query is is tough to efficiently use as a report to my finance office.

  • @Crystal Bruce I often run an Unposted Gifts query to do a visual QA check prior to posting gifts to FENXT. The experience is easy, though one downside is the inability to resize the window easily, the results view scroll bar remains frustrating, and it is almost too clickable. I don't love that windows overlay the query window rather than opening in a new tab.

  • @Crystal Bruce Before closing the month, I run a constituent query that reviews the previous 2 months’ donation specifics, membership, constituent active/address status that ensures proper and consistent processing. Since this is a review query, I can sort and adjust columns for the area I’m focusing on.

  • @Crystal Bruce I run a gift audit query daily to view gifts and catch any mistakes before they are fed. The webview query worked well.

  • @Crystal Bruce I was pleasantly surprised by similar the set-up and operation of a query is to database view - criteria, output, sort, results. I appreciate that!

  • @Crystal Bruce My go to queries are Gifts for ‘This Month’ and Review RE Honors & Memorials. For the most part, the results are similar to what I'd receive in database view, and I love that the export from Webview has less steps. It would be nice to suppress the duplicates which isn't working as expected for me.

  • @Crystal Bruce I run a constituent query each morning showing the most recent gifts. We've been relying on query in webview for quite a while, and our experience has been good.

  • @Crystal Bruce
I run a lot of queries to add actions or appeals by id number from lists. It is nice to be able to paste more record ids into the query at one time than previously available in database view.

  • @Crystal Bruce
I'm still training on queries in web view, but am getting more comfortable each time I run one. So far the experience has been a lot easier than I expected.

  • @Crystal Bruce I run a whole range of queries during a day. Often I have a list of ID numbers that I search on. I love that I can easily add up to 2000 at one time. Exporting so quickly without having to save the file is another great innovation.

  • @Crystal Bruce The report I run most often is a monthly gift report. Was super easy to run and review in web view!

  • @Crystal Bruce
We run a query week for online gifts

  • @Crystal Bruce

My most common query is our daily report to reconcile with accounting. Running queries in NXT is no different than running queries in database view. The hard part is getting in the habit of running things in NXT rather than in database view.

  • @Crystal Bruce
I use a query for finding donations over $5000 for our tax return. I'm glad queries were added to webview. They are easy to find & use and have made my days more efficient.

  • @Crystal Bruce I'm new to the organization and started during tax receipt season. As a result, my most commonly used queries were to create a tally of how many consolidated receipts would be emailed and how many would be mailed.

  • @Crystal Bruce our most common query is daily gifts. Our fundraisers prefer to use webview so having the ability to create queries in webview is a plus!

  • @Crystal Bruce my most commonly used query is the Daily Gifts Report.

  • @Crystal Bruce My go-to query at the moment is the daily gift query, which is quick and easy in web view
