  • @Crystal Bruce I like that fundraisers can easily find which events a constituent has attended on the constituent record. Additionally I can easily create lists from event to report out on attendance data.

  • @Crystal Bruce
We created an event for a Donor Lunch coming up next month. I have been recommending our team use the Event module for this lunch for the past 2 years. This year I insisted!?

Setting up the event, adding participants, and tracking responses is so much easier than I remember in DBV! I especially like you can check the box next to an invitee and easily update their RSVP! This is fantastic!

  • @Crystal Bruce
I like the ability to add customized Participant Options, free event fee hide.

  • @Crystal Bruce
The ability for registrants to make a donation. Most of our events are free, so this is a very nice feature.

  • @Crystal Bruce
My favorite event capability is that I can keep track of individual participants, sponsors and guests separately.

  • @Crystal Bruce @Crystal Bruce I love how easy and user friendly it is to create an event! It's so easy to just copy the event over and have all of the same packages. I also like how easy it is to make a list of the attendees of an event!

  • @Crystal Bruce I like the customizable participant options!

  • @Crystal Bruce
I like that I can now change a participant as we have had duplicate constituents come through so to easily edit and pick the right constituent is very convenient. Also that people can decline an invitation which is nice to keep track of responses.

  • @Crystal Bruce

My favorite part of the events module is how easy it is to filter different participant levels, allowing us to quickly sort and manage attendees based on their engagement. I also love how seamlessly we can transition guests to participants, making the registration and tracking process much more efficient. These features save time and ensure we have accurate records throughout the event planning process.

  • @Crystal Bruce, I like that I can add participants in bulk by using a saved list. That will save some serious time.

  • @Crystal Bruce
I like that we can track declines.

  • @Crystal Bruce
Identifying possible duplicates in the Online data health would be my favorite. I wish we could screen suggested new constituent records for duplicates before processing their registration, kind of like gifts.

  • @Crystal Bruce, Easy to add basics and move around tiles

  • @Crystal Bruce love the participant options.

  • @Crystal Bruce It's great that you can easily add expenses by expense type and vendor!

@Crystal Bruce, I'm late to the party - so much has been said.

Like @Patti Hommes I've been using events since it was released.

I also want to amplify @Dana Smith's comment about being able to copy an event.

What I like about creating a new event is that it is so user-friendly I'm finally shifting this off of my plate and our event planner loves the ease of adding new events and setting up registration forms. The forms are so similar to setting up emails in the web view and she has been doing that for years.

I'd also love it if we could create the event id at the time we create the event.

  • @Crystal Bruce This was my first time creating an Event as it is not directly related to my role. Upon learning more about it, I was able to add some better tracking features in Tables that other users had not done. I really like the ability to have an organization register and include registrants under the organization.

  • @Crystal Bruce I like that it ties into defined categories and groups automatically. The description is nice and BIG.

  • @Crystal Bruce It was very easy to create an Event. I did it in TEST since we don't create events in RE. We create them in Almabase and then SYNC them to RE NXT thru the pre-built integration. It was easy to mark attendees as ‘Attended’.

  • @Crystal Bruce
The "participant options" are nice to have. I might need to restrict others from creating those so we don't end up with variations of the same options…

  • @Crystal Bruce
I enjoy having the guest options.

  • @Crystal Bruce It was very quick and easy to figure out how to make a new event.

  • What would categories and groups be on the database side? I wasn't sure what to do choose there.

  • @Crystal Bruce Having the participant options is great. I also enjoyed how easy it was to set up and can see being able to pass this off to someone less experienced, which I didn't feel comfortable with in database view.

  • @Crystal Bruce We find the RSVP and attendance options very helpful!

    @Crystal Bruce
We love that you can offer an optional donation option to event registration forms. This has increased our alumni giving simply by offering them the option to give when they register for alumni events!

  • @Crystal Bruce
I like the option of adding other fees to an event registration form. This gives us the option to let our constituents purchase a book along with a ticket to the event. I wish we could somehow also allow them to purchase the other fees without registering.

  • @Crystal Bruce I do prefer the nxt event registration and so does our fundraising staff it's much more friendly than the database view

  • @Crystal Bruce We really like the optional donation feature.

  • @Crystal Bruce
We started using the Expenses Tile to track expenses with our last event. We also are attaching all documentation we receive for the event such as catering contracts in the event record.
