  • @Crystal Bruce I like how easy it is to work with participants and the look and ease of the event form. 2 wishes: (1) Option to review unmatched registrants before creating a new record (like gift batches) and (2) Confirmation email templates.

  • @Crystal Bruce I like being able to customize the registration form for different group types and send them a separate link, so Attendees, Staff and Volunteers will have different registration pricing that only they can see.

  • @Crystal Bruce I use Events all of the time. I love how I can easily set up a registration page and copy Participant Options from other events.

  • @Crystal Bruce
I like how easy it is to set up an event in Webview. It is easy to navigate and decide what and where to put the information needed.

  • @Crystal Bruce Currently, we are using the event module to track attendees, approved/declined invite requests, and no-shows for a few donor events each year. We are in the process of learning and determining if any other features included are relevant to our organization's needs.

  • @Crystal Bruce

I have been using Events for a while now, but am just starting to explore all the functionality, new and old. I love the look and feel of Events in NXT.

  • @Crystal Bruce Participant options help us easily track additional categories associated with a registration (e.g. dinner selection)!

  • @Crystal Bruce I really like how the time selector works! Very slick. I love how few steps are in the “create event”, it makes it very quick to get started.

  • @Crystal Bruce ease of use and navigation compared with DBview!

  • @Crystal Bruce I love that our event team loves it and can use it with ease and clarity.

  • @Crystal Bruce
We love the simplicity of creating events in Webview! Oh, and “Groups” is going to be a game changer for us!

  • @Jessica Cellini
What is the “Groups” function and how do you use it to “change the game”? :) I'm interested in learning how you plan to use it to see if it's an idea we can implement within my context.

  • @Crystal Bruce
Creating an Event in NXT is super easy and is definitely a great tool for us to implement.

  • @Crystal Bruce We've just begun to scratch utilizing the events module, even though we've had the capability for years. We're utilizing it right now for an event in May that would be a former patient and donor gathering in a community where we get a lot of referral business from. This is a collaborative effort with our patient referral/advancement department, our marketing/PR department, and our Foundation team. Some internal politics aside, I was able to “win” the ability to build the registration for the free event through the Foundation and NXT. So far so good!

  • @Crystal Bruce, it is very easy to set up an event.

  • @Mike Gochenour Sure thing! We have multiple departments within our advancement team that organize events so we'll use groups for reporting to pull events by specific department. It will allow all the departments to use the same event types.

  • @Crystal Bruce
Ease of set up, ability to use Categories and Groups - and categories is customizable

  • @Crystal Bruce

It's very straightforward to set up events and to put in the main important details quickly. Adding participants is particularly easy.

  • @Crystal Bruce
The ability to limit specific ticket/reg fee availability, example only 1 event sponsor, only 3 bronze sponsors, only 50 gen admissions.

  • @Crystal Bruce I like the capability to see total expenses, goal amount and the percent towards the goal thus far.

  • @Crystal Bruce The ability to add guest and export the event list.

  • @Crystal Bruce I like that anyone on the team can easily see who has been invited, who will be attending, and ultimately who attended… and they can create lists from the event. I also like how easy it is to invite constituents.

  • @Crystal Bruce
Have been using Events in NXT for a couple of years now - I LOVE that you can now limit capacity on fees, limited capacity prior to that change could never quite work properly for our needs

  • @Crystal Bruce having an online registration form!! and not having to import to add info to constituent records
