Thank you to everyone who attended our Skype chat last week on Fundraising/Prospect Management in CRM – we learned a lot and shared a number of great ideas!

 

Attached are the transcript and summary of the session.  Additionally, one of our Skype chat regulars, Tanya Crowe from the University of Georgia, missed the chat but wanted to share some custom lists they’ve built to compile prospect information for their fundraisers.  I’ve attached a third document with the screenshots of their setup.  Thanks Tanya!

    Hi Everyone,

     

    Our prospect managers needed a quick and easy view of their prospects and the attached custom report shows you an example of the headings of the report (with one line of data). Our prospect managers it is useful to be able to look at, sort and export the list that includes all their prospects.

    On the UGA list (in the previous post), we also have LookupID, but only show it on the Export to Excel.

    Hi everyone!

     

    Just a quick update.  We had a number of people who mentioned during our Fundraising chat that users have trouble with the number of clicks required to navigate the Prospects functional area.

     

    Our Products team has let me know that they are aware of this problem and are reviewing it for potential investment in 2015.  So, the best way to keep on top of news and changes is going to be to subscribe to our Product Discovery page, under Events > Product Discovery, by clicking Options > Subscribe.  That way you'll get a notification each time we post a new session or response.
