500 response when attempting to process a transaction last night

Hi there,

A customer of ours had a payment of theirs fail unexpectedly around 6:39 PM ET last night (November 6th).

They came to us (VanillaSoft) asking what had happened, and after looking at our logs, we received a 500 InternalServerError response back from the Payments API at that time when calling the “payments/v1/transactions/” endpoint. Just to note, the same customer had successfully submitted a different transaction just minutes later.

Since it's unexpected and atypical for us to get a 500 back when calling this endpoint, I wanted to check with you about this.

Were there any known issues with the Payments API around that time last night?
