Common Ground Fundraising Custom Templates & Approval Process

Common Ground Fundraising offers templates that can be customized to match a clients web site. 

 

If a custom template is created, it goes through a scan to approve the code.  It could additionally go through an automated security review if the code needs further review. Items that may warrant a code review could be JavaScript or some other complex scripting on the page.  Standard items like HTML or CSS should not warrant a code review and should be automatically approved. 

 

Once the template is submitted for approval, there is nothing else, you the partner, will need to do. A case is automatically generated on your behalf, but it's an internal case that the Common Ground Support team will work off of and not something that is visible on the partner or client side.  The turnaround time for code review is 2 days, although most of the approvals go through within 24 hours.

 

Once the template is approved, an auto-generated email is sent to the CG user that submitted the custom template, as well as the status of their template changes from "Pending" to "Approved".
