E-News registration groups and tracking

Options

I am blanking on this...how would I find those who have registered for our e-news from our website and those who have signed up via Facebook? (I am not sure if they are both going to the same group or not.)

Or is there an overall way to see new registrants in a certain period and determine where they came from?

Thanks!

  • Hey Stacy,

Good questions with a few different answers.

The FB app we built is connected to a survey in your site, just like the Contact Us form and registration forms. You can pull reports based on all of those.

You can look at each individual survey report by navigating to Content > Surveys. For example you've had 1,148 responses to the Contact Us form to date. You can DL all of those responses into Excel and slice and dice however you want.

You can also pull survey reports based on date range by using the Reports tool under Data Management < Content Management Reports. Here you can pull based on a date then put those records into a group if you need to target them for some reason.

Finally you can pull a query. Pick system origin type of System: Survey Participant than add an interaction clause of "Survey Submitted" with subject "Contact Us" (or whatever survey you want to see).

FYI: Moving forward if there are existing surveys where you want participants added to a group, just go to that survey, click on edit and under Related Actions choose "Associate groups and interests". This won't add people that previously submitted, but anyone moving fwd will be put into the group of your choosing.
