Where in the donation form template do we designate the payment schedule for the donation. Is this the recurring gift? We want 8 payments only.

    You can set up recurring giving on the "Extras" second step of the donation form setup.



    Pledge giving is something we are considering for the future. The challenge is that


    our research shows scheduled pledge gifts don't translate very well to the web. While it may make perfect sense to us in the industry, the way it's normally presented often confuses donors and conversion rates suffer.

    We want to give constituents an opportunity to make a purchase and pay for it over a period of 5 months. Since there is an end date do we still make this a recurring gift on the donation form or is there a way to call it a pledge?

    Hi Joanne, thanks for posting. I merged this topic with one that was similar. As I mentioned above, a great donor experience for pledge payments on the web is tricky. That said, we are looking into it and are experimenting with some different options. If you are interested I'd love to hear your feedback on some concepts we are exploring. I'll reach out to you via email for details.

    Thanks for the reply; what you are saying makes sense. We are renovating an auditorium and are selling new seats for $500.00. I was hoping to give people the option of direct debit or cc payment over 5 months. I would be happy to give feedback on new concepts.
