Email in Query listed twice

Ann, do you mean in your output's results, or in the criteria options? If it's the latter, someone in your organization may have added a second, similar, phone type. If it's former, your query's settings may need to be edited to "Suppress Duplicate Rows." Remember, too, that Query can provide some rather awkward results when you do your searches--the best tool for exporting information based off your query is the Export. It will pare down and list every result you seek only once.

I would suggest checking out your Tables entry in Config under Phone Types to make sure that you only have Email/E-Mail/EMail in there once. RE can recognize the slightest difference as a new type and if you're entering information quickly (or someone new to a position is doing the data entry) you may not even notice that you've agreed to create a new phone type.



If there are two types, check each one in Query to see how many records have it, do a quick Global Change on the smaller one so that zero records have it, and then delete it out of your records or make it inactive. That way it won't show up again.
