I'm new in this position and to BlackBaud, and I'm trying to query a list of donors who gave at a certain level last year, but have not yet given this year. I have tried everything I can think of, but I'm not getting the results I need. Is there a step by step for this particular request?

    The easiest way to pull that data is Reports > Analytical Reports > LYBUNT Report  (Last Year But Unfortunately Not This).  If you only want to include those giving at a certain level last year, first create a query (I'd use constituent query with summary info of gift total greater than $XXXX).  Then use that query as records to include in the report.

    You can specify this fiscal year for calendar year if different.

    Forgot - if you want a query, not just the list provide by the report, check the 'create output query' at the bottom of the General tab.  Then you will have the query you are looking for.

    one single constituent query. Summary total # 1 - last year - total you want AND Summary total #2 - this year - = 0
