question on recurring gifts linked to proposal

Is there a way to automatically link a recurring gift to a proposal? Or some way to have a pop up to remind us to link them? 

You can create a query just for those donors to look for new gifts that have a gift type of Recurring Gift Pay-Cash that have not be applied to a proposal and run that daily/weekly/monthly as a maintenance task.

Or if the gift is getting entered manually you can add a gift business rule for just that record that would say to apply it to the proposal.
