in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT®: General Discussion

If you are running Raiser's Edge hosted by Blackbaud:

1) would you do it again given the choice?

2) are you running Citrix on your network for other applications?  Are there any conflicts?

     1. Probably not because our "higher ups" won't allow us to log in to RE remotely, so sort of defeats the big advantage.  The hardest part for us when we switched to hosted environment was getting used to how to save files and printing letters, etc.

    2.  Not applicable.

     Julie,

    We have our Raiser's Edge hosted by Blackbaud and the setup works well for us. We are a medium size organization with a small IT department so it is more cost effective and efficient to have our system hosted. We are also in a storm-prone area so there is an added benefit of being able to access our system remotely if needed.

    We do not use Citrix for any other applications so I cannot speak to that point. We have a fairly basic setup just Raiser's Edge and NetCommunity.
