Querying on Multi-Year Pledges

We are currently in a capital campaign which technically began in 2008 and we have been receiving multi-year pledges since 2008 and up to the present with end dates as late as 2020. So I have many multi-year pledges with varying start dates, durations, and end dates.

 I need help creating a query that will accurately identify all these pledges so that I can eliminate anyone having a gift in that category when I run my queries for annual giving and employee giving renewals each year.

 Can anyone help with this?

    For my solicitations I eliminate anyone with a pledge balance >0. Will this work for you?

     Are you referring to annual giving and employee giving renewals to that capital campaign?  Or can you filter by fund or appeal?  If so that will help.
