Tax laws have changed and we are required to state goods and services amounts on the tax receipt letters. Right now RE shows the tax deuctable portion.  Is the "Recept Amount" able to be changed to "Goods and Services" so that is a selected field for batch, and for the individual records?

    Tax laws where? If you are talking about the United States, this has been law for decades - too many just did not know it.

    This is why I do not use receipts. RE REceipts do not comply with US standards for receipting per IRS publication 1771 with regards to goods and services. They only work for gifts where no goods/services were exchanged.

    If you use gift acknowledgements there is a field Called Total Benefit Value - If you actually used the benefit button (which I highly recommend) - you can get this field in gift acknowledgements.

    Do not forget that you are ALSO required to write a description of these benefits on the receipt as well. Benefit Descrtiption is also a field available in Gift Acknowledgements.
