Can you share seasonal campaign samples with me?  Thank you!

  • Hi Kristen,

Are you looking for a fundraising campaign example? Any season in particular?

Let us know what you are trying to get better ideas on. I'm sure it will help the food bankers know what would be best to share.

    Thanks,

    Heather

I am currently working on our guide for our Spring fundraising campaign and was wondering if anyone had samples that they would be willing to share of what they sent to their constituents. I was able to find samples of end of year campaigns, but not Spring or Fall.

I hope I explained that well.

    Thanks.

I don't have any specific examples but I can tell you that the spring is a great time for virtual events/fundraisers. Even if you don't have something like TeamRaiser or PersonalFundraising you can get creative with donation form design and Rewards to create a spring contest or "event."

Our Go! team often uses the spring to focus on sustaining gift campaigns. This may be something to consider. For a food bank I would recommend something around the fact that you need help to feed the increasing number of children who rely on school meals but during the summer they don't have access to those meals. A sustaining gift campaign doesn't have to be a 12 month or endless commitment either. Consider a campaign that focuses only on securing ongoing support through the summer. You can campaign something to the effect: "Just four gifts of $20 a month will provide school-age children with the nutritional meals they would otherwise go without if not for your support.'

Since I'm not familiar with your org I can't really nail down what you've done in the past that worked really well but hopefully something like what I mentioned above will help.
