Secondary registrations in TeamRaiser

I'm trying to find the answer for you on this. I myself can't find a way to get the name of the person who did the secondary registration to come up in a report with the secondary registrant's info. Hopefully I'll get something for you today.

Well after much digging and report testing we have concluded that what you want to get is not possible. There is not a report that will show who the person was who did the secondary registration for a participant. I'd recommend going into Convio Ideas and adding this as a feature enhancement.

Thanks Kent. It's too bad this info isnt' readily available, because it would be pretty useful.  In fact, it's kind of strange that the system lets you configure the TeamRaiser this way and then you can't get the data out. The secondary registrant info is not on the confirmation email, either, so it's a bit of an information gap for participants and administators.  I have checked out the idea bank and hopefully it will get some traction.

As kent said it is not possible to get to this information via a report format, but you can see it within a persons individual registration account.  If you pulled the report to see who was a secondary registratant, you could then go into their registraiton record to see who their parent registration person is.

Not sure if you knew this or not, but wanted to add the information incase you didn't.

Thanks, I did know that.  It's a bit cumbersome to be forced to log in and look up secondary registrations one by one, unfortunately.  Would be excellent to be able to have it all in one place, especially when we're checking people in.  Often the person who did the primary registration will want to pick up race bibs for everyone they registered.  The way the system is set up, neither their confirmation email or the available reports would allow us to find the primary registrant and easily associate them with the people they regstered.  We'll find a workaround, but hopefully there are plans to improve this area within the system!
