Sending Welcome Letter When Candidate is Accepted

Options

We would like to send a canned welcome letter when a candidate is accepted from the Division Director. Ideally, it would be auto-triggered when the Admissions Department accepts the candidate. It would be nice to have some personalization, pull the student's name, etc. We have 4 different divisions and directors, so we would need to be able to tell it which letter to send. A bonus would be if we could add an image for a signature.

Is anyone doing anything like this? Also open to sending it after they are enrolled if that opens up more communication options.

We developed a “Welcome to the Toledo Christian Family” pushpage template that the Admissions Director sends out to new families when they're accepted. She updates it according to the time of year when she creates an issue. It includes how to get started (a video we made of the introduction to the parent side of Blackbaud), a short video we made of a tour of the newsletters and how to stay informed, supply lists, contact info and photos of the leadership of all the various school levels, important dates, etc.

She simply updates the Distribution Group with the latest batch of acceptances and sends it out.

Here's a sample. (I redacted the photos and contact information for privacy's sake.) Sample_Redacted.pdf
