Hi Everyone. Regarding the upcoming PCI v.4 compliance tasks in Luminate, I've written a blog post that includes an overview of the steps you need to take.

    @Andrea Fleisher
    Thanks for providing this. I'm curious about the first item on the list (securing NEXTURL forms) because I have not seen this in Blackbaud's guidelines. Could you - or someone else - explain how this is related to the PCI compliance updates?

    Please note that I have read the knowledgebase article about how to do it, but that is not what I'm asking.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @Karen Diener, my understanding is that it's not directly related to the PCI4 updates, but it is in the category of important security updates to have come out recently. Most organizations do not use NEXTURL in such a way that they direct to URLs external to Luminate, so it's not a very common scenario.

  • @Andrea Fleisher Have you heard of clients losing the donation button off the form after switching to Blackbaud checkout? If so, any advice on how to deal with the problem? Thanks!

  • @MaryAnn Coyle Yes. If you mean the gift array buttons, we've seen this quite a bit when the Checkout Embedded element is installed, because it can create a jquery version conflict. Do you mean these, or different buttons?

  • @Andrea Fleisher I meant the Donate Now/Submit button. Support has resolved the issue for particular forms. Work continues on other forms with different stylistic components.
