Thoughts from users of AlumniFinder for data appends

Would love to hear from anyone who has utilized data appends with AlumniFinder.

We are looking at all their services to decide what might be valuable to us.

We do run BB's quarterly NCOA updates but last fall found that addresses are not getting updated like we thought when a return rate was HUGE on a first class mailing. I have talked to our customer success rep and was supposed to hear back from someone who know more about why but never have.

Have you used their service for cell phone or landline? DOB? Email? (I know from other appends data is never perfect) Date of death?

We ran BB Deceased record finder this fall as well as NCOA. I find it ironic that our data health ratings for deceased and addresses are below averages yet data health is only “Good” and they say there are records that can be updated. Just a sales gimmick for the appends? Why didn't they find these records.

Did you find their data valid for the most part? Any issues importing it?

    @JoAnn Strommen We “use” AlumniFinder. We did a deceased append after COVID deaths slowed down. It was helpful and I verified everything before marking deceased. I segmented by engagement and still have a few to go that are very low priority. It was inexpensive (they have sales at the end of the calendar year.) I've not used any of their other services. Looking forward to what others have to say.
