New Checkout for Events, ECommerce?

Options

I assume we will need to be updating all transactions, including event and ecommerce transactions to the new BB Checkout standard. Is that available now for events and ecommerce?

    Hi @Kyle Booth -

    Yes, you'll need to update your events and eCommerce stores so that they use your merchant account that is set up for the new checkout. However, the support for events and eCommerce isn't out just yet. It's included in 25.1.1, so will be supported on Jan 24th.

    At that time, you can edit your events and stores to update the merchant account in the configuration settings.

    Yes, 25.1.1 is out fully, so you should be able to make these updates to use the new checkout in Events, eCommerce, and more. The release notes are here.

    Note that the inline checkout option for TeamRaiser registration forms is coming in a future release.

    Hi @Hayley Adams - I learned today of an issue that has shown up post-25.1.1 for the Copy feature of Ticketed and RSVP Events. The fix will go out Friday, Jan 31, so if you are working on an event update using Copy, you may want to wait until after the 31st.

  • @Colleen Gutierrez This still is not working for us on calendar events, and we get the same error message.

    Error: We're sorry, your transaction did not complete successfully.

    Error: We are experiencing temporary difficulties with the payment network. Please try again later.

    We were able to get all the other modules to work except for the events.

  • @Colleen Gutierrez It appears that this problem is not resolved yet. We heard back from support yesterday that the engineers are still working on it.
