Forgot to commit when working with a membership transaction, can I recall it?

Hi, I mistakenly saved a membership transaction in the Online Express section without committing. Is there a way to recall it so that I can edit it once I've submitted it? Thanks!

Hi @Paul Stankus, and welcome to the Blackbaud community!

I'm a little confused about your post. Typically, “committing” is an action taken in gift batches but it doesn't seem like you're there yet. Or did you click “process transaction” and now that transaction and gift appear on a constituent record without going through batch?

A short answer is that you can definitely edit anything once it lands in RE. But if you processed the membership and related gift without putting it through batch, it is possible that some information did not transfer accurately.

Please follow up with some more details and we can work through this!

  • @Karen Diener I figured it out in the end. I had to edit on the RE side which was pretty straight forward. I am just new to RE so wasn't sure at first!
