Select One Fund option

In a donation form via Online Express, is there a way to have the default fund be Select One so that a donor has to scroll through and find a fund to support? I'm finding that donors may not be scrolling through and just let the first fund they see be the one selected.

    Welcome @Kim Henry. This can only pull from a list of funds, so unfortunately you cannot have that as an option. From what I've seen, I have OE forms give directions at the top of the page. With mobile devices being how most people view things, they may not even see the scroll on the side to see other options. This is why you should always set the order of the funds to have the preferred option first.

    Yes that is what I thought but wanted to make sure. Unfortunately for this particular donation form, we have several funds to choose from and we would really prefer that the donor scroll through as opposed to using the first one available.

    Online Express form is “true embed” meaning it is not using an iframe to load in a different domain's page (unlike RE NXT donation form). Meaning you can manipulate the form using CSS and Javascript coded into the page that load the OLX form. If you got someone that knows how to code Javascript (normal web developer should know how to), it take 1 line of javascript code to make the form select the option automatically for the donor.

    @Kim Henry Of course the preference is that the donor scroll through the options, but have you already ordered the list so that the first option is the most desired option for the form. In my orgs OE form, the designation is clearly in a dropdown box. Even if you were able to create it so that you changed the display to have the first option be something like a “Select One”, I don't think you'd be able to have that not be an selectable option as well. Then you would have a form filled out for an option that's not real.
