Ready for Review boxes

Options

I am preparing teacher instructions for submitting spring term and year-end grades. I noticed a difference between the old and new grading screens.

I changed the Grading Start Date for a grade plan to today, but did not change any of the other dates. In particular, I did not change the Review Start Date.

On the original Grading page, a teacher can still mark the grades as ready for review.

On the new Grading page, the review boxes are not visible yet. When I change to Review Start date to today or before, the review boxes appear.

Is this a deliberate change in the behavior between the old and new pages? In practice, it won't matter to us because I always set the two start dates to be the same.

    Hi @Brian Gray -

No, this wasn't intended. I'll have a work item created to change this.

Originally, we had the issue where if dates did not exist in one of the grade plans, it would prevent the Review column from completely displaying. It looks like when we made that fix, it was inadvertently updated to display the column based on the date range, and not whether or not value simple existed, regardless of the date range.

Thank you for catching this. In all of my text databases, I have those dates synced with the Grading start/end dates so I haven't seen this myself in my day-to-day.
