Grades Vanishing After Re-Calculation

Options

Maybe this has already been addressed, but one of my teachers reported that all of her grades calculated as hoped for, but when she recalculated the class, that's when some grades were missing: so, same issue, but at a different time.

    Hi @Tim Dougherty -

I just want to confirm the steps to duplicate on this. It sounds like the first time the teacher calculated grades in the new experience, everyone calculated as expected. It wasn't until the calculation was run a second that the students stopped calculating, is that correct?

Would you be able to email me the name of the teacher, class, and student who are affected so that I can take a look and potentially get the item over to an engineer?

  • @Michael Morrissette So I got a fuller description and maybe it's less problematic: The teacher, Leah Davidson-Wolf, updated Trevor Huffman's Q3 grade in Forensic Science after having calculated all Q3 grades in New Grading. Then she went back into the new grading system and recalculated his grade, but it did not change from the F he had to the C (it needed to be with the graebook change). She then went to the old grading system and calculated the grades, at which point the grade changed. When I checked back in the new grading system, the grade was updated.

So maybe this is not a new thing. Sorry for the trouble, if so.
