Event Tickets in Online Express

Is there a way to only have 1 registrant order and pay tickets and be listed as one entry when committing the batch only once in the actual event as opposed to it coming through as multiple lines under the same name for the same number of tickets being ordered?

    I'm not clear on what your question is.

    in Online Express, if you selected 1 ticket to come with a “price”, then only 1 participant record will get created.

    But if 1 person orders 10tickets, we get 10 registrations in that same persons name for 1 tkt each, so in their event record it looks like they came to 10 events, when in reality it was 1 event. Hoping that explained more my question. Thanks!

    If 1 person buy 10 tickets, that means 10 guests in total coming to event, so in total 10 participant records will be created in RE, where 1 is the “main” and 9 is guest records.

    If you allow anonymous individual or group and that checkbox is used, then your behavior is “correct” in that the system doesn't know the other 9 guests' name. However, it would be for the same event, not 10 events.

    there are followup work manually that needs to be done depending if you need the guests name before event or if it's ok for the buyer of ticket to come together with the other 9 guests for you to admit them into the event.
