How do I get rid of Blank ID constituent ID's from Tables

Options

I want to clean up my Phones table as there are multiple old categories - they have no recognised constituents sitting within them but just various numbers of ‘Blank ID’ lists. Until I have removed these Blank ID's to make the record empty, I can't run the tidy tables plug in. How can I find out what these Blank ID's relate to? I have tried running a query to locate them but it only found 6 constituents so there are clearly many more somewhere else. Had anybody come across this before?

    non constituent can be relationship and can be event guests.

    after trying Carlene's query, you can try running a participant query (if you use Event module).

    We faced a similar problem where someone added “London” to our Counties table via web view some time in December but it was on two “Blank ID" records (we prefer London to be in the City field, not the County field).

    This knowledgebase article has the list of all the places I looked, but I was ultimately unable to track these two entries down. In the end, I merged the new active London entry (that I renamed to “London1” into the deactivated London entry) so that I didn't have to look at it.

    @Emma DarbyshireMezzanotte - Phone types may be hidden in a number of locations, have you checked all of these?

    Thank you Carlene - I have found where the problem lies and it is within the relationship records - so the phone details of a constituents spouse! Thanks so much for the pointers.

  • @Carlene Johnson I'm dealing with a similar issue but with addressee/salutation fields. How can I search relationship records to isolate those that are coming up with “Blank ID”? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    To clarify: I am trying to remove outdated addressee/salutation fields (and likely other fields from Tables) but am not able to because I'm running into “Blank ID”. Looking through the responses, I ran a Participant Query and saw that many participants to past events are missing a Constituent ID.

    Do I need to do this for Relationships as well? Or how can I isolate these records so I can remove the addressee/salutations from them? Help! haha.

    Thank you so much to anyone willing to give advice.

    @Micah Rodriguez

    event guest (non constituent) does not have option for addressee/salutation (if you go to a non-constituent guest record, there's no where you can input addressee/salutation)

    non constituent relationship does have addressee/salutation that can be specified, so you will need to check those.

    We don't use volunteer module, so not sure if there are non constituent record there and if those record can have addressee/salutation.

    @Micah Rodriguez I suggest you make your own post about this so that it receives the attention it deserves rather than being buried in this thread. I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you!
