LO Donor Portal - share your org's experience/can I take a look?

Options

Our org is looking to implement a LuminateOnline donor portal – with the primary purpose of providing donors self-service access to giving history/records.

We know a challenge will be the quality of our records, and we want to make sure what we're providing to our constituents is accurate data.

Is anyone who's been through implementation willing to share their experience? Insights, hurdles, land mines?

I'd be happy to join your donor base to see what it looks like from the donor's perspective!

    @Greg Rubenstein Hi, I'm adding @Troy Walker to answer this question for you.

  • @Greg Rubenstein are you going to be using something different than the Service Center that is in LO? The Service Center will pull data directly from a LO Cons record. That data should be correct as it only pulls LO Data.

    You can access it in LO Admin by going to Fundraising -> Service Center. If you have a developer on hand, you can make some pretty good customizations to it.

    @Lolly Ihrke Phillip did a nice job explaining the standard implementation. I have seen several clients use a Pagebuilder page in conjunction to have a nicer look and feel. It ultimately links to service center though.
