Importing & exporting the "Notes" field

How would one import (and export) information in the Notes field? I have scoured "Universal User File Layouts" (v30) and cannot find anything.

My worry is that Convio doesn't allow this, which would be most unfortunate.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Never mind...received an answer from Convio Support:

    "Unfortunately there are no reports that output (or import) the information from the notes tab on a record at this time."

    This seems pretty remarkable to me given the fanfare around "openness." I'm astonished that there are fields we cannot access except through the Convio platform.
