Address accelerator on import or query?

Options

Is there any way of running address accelerator on either a query or an import? I am importing some data where, for the majority of records, only the house number and postcode/first line of address and postcode has been supplied. I am scratching my head a bit on how to auto-populate at least the town and also check the address actually exists!

Hi @Gail Hurd - You can do this by going to Data Health Center in Database View, with your query already created, on the “Data Health Services” tab click “Validate Addresses" next to “AddressAccelerator”. Link in the Query you previously created, and fill in specifications on all the tabs, then click “Update Now” on the bottom right of the pop-up window.

  • Thanks, unfortunately we seem to not have that part of the address accelerator module activated. ?

That's weird. You can also do this by going through one-by-one from a Constituent Query. Utilizing keyboard shortcuts to move through records and initiate AddressAccelerator will take some time, but it's not too bad depending on how many addresses you've imported.

Check out this blog for more information on Keyboard Shortcuts that will help you move through these updates as quickly as possible:
