Action vs. Clickthrough rates

Options

Can someone just give me a quick definition of the two, and how they are different? I've been trying to get this answer but nothing yet...

Thanks!

  • Clickthrough is the percentage of recepients of the message who actually click through. Note recipients is sometimes less than the total number of sends. Action rate is percentage of recipients who take some form of action on your website, e.g. sign a pledge, make a gift, advocate etc.

Thanks for the response. Can I ask one more question?

What exactly is stewardship, by Convio's definition? I am looking at Convio's original presentation to my organization, which was long before my time here, and there is no real definition of stewardship in it, just a mention.

    Thanks again!
