Error on Online Express Event Page

Options

I am being notified of recent occurring errors on one of our Online Express event pages. I can see that the transaction went through but the customer never received a confirmation email and there are 2 error messages embedded within the event however, there is not enough information for me to fix it.

We have other events running right now with no issues, I am not sure why this particular form is not working.

    Hi Catherine - There is an active issue alert on https://status.blackbaud.com concerning OLX, check it out for more information; the team at BB will post an update every few hours.

  • Hi Austen, Our situation is the same as Catherine's. To add to that, WE did not receive a confirmation email advising of the details so we have no idea of what the payments we are getting through BBPS are for. When do you think this will be resolved? We have JUST launched a fundraising campaign today…

  • I would also like to know when it is anticipated to be resolved so we can get the registrations processed ASAP.

    Hi @Catherine Beisel and @BELINDA HUMMEL - I only know what has been posted to the https://status.blackbaud.com page. Based on a post from 10:31 EST today the BB team is trying to get this resolved as soon as possible, but they “don't expect this issue to be resolved until Wednesday evening at the earliest”. If you visit the linked status page, you can subscribe to the alert and receive email notifications when the ‘Active Issue Alert’ is updated.

  • Hi Austen, What just came to mind, as well, is that in addition to the confirmation email, there would hopefully be the associated auto-generated tax receipt, when and if applicable. Would you have any idea re this? Thanks again.
  • Belinda and Catherine - just so you're clear on this, Austen does NOT work for Blackbaud. She's just being super helpful, as she is, and telling you what's available on the status update page. Going there would put you as much in the know as she is.

    here's the most recent update for you (from the status page):

    Update - As of 6:00 p.m. ET, the processes that are expected to fix the issue are running as expected but will still take several hours to complete. Once those processes finish running, the issue should be resolved. In terms of sending donation acknowledgment emails, you have no action to take right now. Our team is fully focused on resolving this issue for you. Once the issue is resolved, we will focus our efforts on how best to send acknowledgment emails for donations made while this issue was occurring. Please subscribe to this alert so you can receive real-time updates once additional information is shared.
