Grammatical Error in Auto Email TY for Tribute Gifts

Options

My apologies if this has been discussed in the past. I wasn't able to find a discussion thread on the topic.

I’m wondering how the auto-populated sentence appearing on the thank you message sent can be corrected. The grammar is not right and it looks as though I made an error that I’m not able to correct. It says “You have made this gift Memorial John Smith.” I’m wondering how others are getting around this issue? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

  • @Janet Laroche this field pulls directly from the way your form design is set up under the “Extras” tab in form designer. Our Thank-you's, for example, read “You have made this gift In memory of …” Note the capital “I” on “In memory”. That is because our form design looks like this:

    9a99f455497b9ea4312ebdf814719fec-origina

This selection pulls from a table under “Config”. In ours, the table is called “Tribute Types”. So, in order to change this verbiage, you will need to adjust your tribute table in Config to fit more smoothly in the sentence context.

  • Faith Murray‍ I've found the table in config and have made some changes. Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it!
  • Happy to help! ?
