Delivery Filters for Resending Email

I have the exact same problem.  I am trying to resend to everyone who didn't open and it filters out the entire group.....

I tried it too. I created a variant message and wanted to send the variant to only those who got the original message and opened it.  But the system will not send a variant message to anyone who received the original message (to avoid sending duplicate messages out) so basically you're immediately suppressing the original audience with a variant message.  In Get Active, we could query who got/opened a particular email and then put them in a group.  doesn't seem to exist in convio querying.

while i'm actually trying to send to those who did open the first email - support staff helped me figure it out and i'm sure it will work for your needs.

you have to go into the EMAIL feature -- and get to your original message.  once there, click on the report tab you see across the top. it will offer you various reports on this particular message.  you get the file and then you just need to add the records to a group for suppression/inclusion for your next message audience.

Delivery filters do allow you to filter down to specific recipient groups for the Email Campaign.

- Constituents who have not been previously mailed

- Constituents who have been mailed to but have not opened

- Constituents who have opened a message but have not clicked through

- Constituents who have clicked through but have not completed an action

- Constituents who have completed an action

Each of these filters is processed in the context of the Email Campaign. The filters will be used to select recipients from the mailable audience at delivery time.

The mailable audience will automatically filter out constituents that have already received the Message or any of its variants. In order to utilize Delivery Filters when not altering the Delivery Audience group list it is necessary to send a different Message. The Convio product prohibits the send of a single Message or any of its Variants to the same constituent record twice.

So why do we even get the option to resend a message to the people who didn't open/take action/etc.?
