Delivery Filters for Resending Email

Options

I'm trying to use the Delivery Filters to resend an email to those people who received it but did not open it. I checked the right boxes under Delivery Filters, but when I run the Audience Calculation, I total audience is calculated at 7 -- the number of email addresses that I updated since I last sent it. Our open rate on the first email was only 22%, so the total audience should be closer to 400. What am I doing wrong?

  • I have the exact same problem.  I am trying to resend to everyone who didn't open and it filters out the entire group.....

    I tried it too. I created a variant message and wanted to send the variant to only those who got the original message and opened it.  But the system will not send a variant message to anyone who received the original message (to avoid sending duplicate messages out) so basically you're immediately suppressing the original audience with a variant message.  In Get Active, we could query who got/opened a particular email and then put them in a group.  doesn't seem to exist in convio querying.

    while i'm actually trying to send to those who did open the first email - support staff helped me figure it out and i'm sure it will work for your needs.

    you have to go into the EMAIL feature -- and get to your original message.  once there, click on the report tab you see across the top. it will offer you various reports on this particular message.  you get the file and then you just need to add the records to a group for suppression/inclusion for your next message audience.

The Convio product prohibits the send of a single Message or any of its Variants to the same constituent record twice.

    So why do we even get the option to resend a message to the people who didn't open/take action/etc.?
