Is there a demo or sandbox environment for testing online express forms?

Does anyone know if there's any way of testing online express forms without making an actual donation?

Can I access a sandbox version where I could use dummy credit card details?

This is especially important for testing the confirmation screen and thank you email.

Ish. I used to be able, in NetCommunity, to use the credit card 4111 1111 1111 1111 and whatever expiration date I wanted. I've never tested that in OLX, but it should work there too, I think. Also, you can make a fake merchant account, switch it to that for the testing, and then switch it back to the real thing when you're done.

Hi Ruth Whiter‍ - You can test a form by putting your BBMS account in "Demo Mode" - see KB Article #91876 for more info on this option. Please note, Demo will put all your OLX forms on hold and you will have issues accepting credit cards on other live forms until you change the mode back to "Live".

Honestly, Heather MacKenzie‍'s suggestion about a fake merchant account sounds like the better option.

I would actually suggest https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/54273. It's somewhere between Austen's and Heather's suggestions. Create a Test or Demo configuration in your BBMS account. This way it won't impact your other forms/processing. Then, when you are done testing, you can go back to your form and select your Live configuration. Just make sure you name them in an obvious way so you know which one is for testing!
