Editing or correcting RE queries on OLX

Options
I've tried to find a similar question/issue to mine, but haven't found anything. Apologies if this is a duplicate topic, though.

I've just recently starting using Online Express for my email marketing, event management and online giving. However, I'm having an issue with getting accurate queries for high school reunions event invitations (virtual!).

I'm unsure if I'm creating the query incorrectly on RE, but it would be really helpful to know if I can manually comb through and edit emails before sending (I'm currently trying to organise a Class of 1971 virtual reunion, and my query has scooped alums from 1952-68, as well as all the ones from 1971).

Below is my query. 'Old Gower' is the term for an alum from my school.

I can't figure out why it would be capturing anyone other than the Class of 1971. But ultimately, it would be good to manage the data on OLX before I send my email. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Elana Dwek‍ - For OLX email lists I go through a process where I have multiple queries that I merge together to end up with the final list (static query). You could also export your query out to excel, scrub the list there, and then import the constituent IDs back into the system to create the final static query - for more information on this method check out KB Article #38639.
  • Hi Elana Dwek‍ ,

I think the problem is OR Education Date Left equals 1971. If your organization captures advanced degrees or education records from other institutions, there will be people who meet this criterion. Just a thought.
