Event Registration Form for Golf Outing Examples

Hi,

We are new to the event module and using online express to create registration forms. Can anyone share a screen shot or examples of a golf outing registration form they built in OLX? We want to see how other organization are setting up their registration options such as foursomes compared to one golf registration, sponsorships and add-ons such as raffle tickets.

    Hi Kristy McGreal‍ - I have not used an OLX event form for a golf tournament, but I can tell you that it is difficult to mix registrations with something else all on one event form. I would recommend that you look into creating a landing page for your event with multiple hyperlink-buttons that will navigate a user to separate forms for what they would like to purchase (registration or raffle tickets).

    Thanks for your quick response. What you mentioned makes sense. Is it safe to assume that you can make multiple event registration forms linking to the same event in RE?

    We currently don't have a golf tournament open and have migrated our event registration forms to NXT. However, we do have a dinner coming up that has a registration page that was set up in Online Express (this event has been delayed twice due to the pandemic and still probably won't happen). You can see the form here https://www.bgcaz.org/buy-tickets-for-yesteryear/. Our golf tournament registration forms looked very similar. Each of the options is a price/registration fee set up in the event record. Then you create the registration form in Online Express and include whichever registration fees/options you would like. We have even done raffle tickets, etc. as an option. It worked but was a little messier than we liked. The attachment is where we included the prices piece... you can show some or all.

    Thank you so much for sharing this example. This is wonderful. I appreciate the screen shot from OXL as well. That's super helpful. The event registration form looks great and very easy to navigate.

    Hey there folks! Just chiming in to say that Carrie Aranda‍'s organization - the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley - is a gold standard for rolling out and using Raiser's Edge NXT forms for both events and donations. They've done incredible work over there and it shows in pretty much every part of their digital footprint. And now posting in Community to help out other nonprofits throughout the world? Hats off to you folks!
