Is there a way to set up autoresponder so consituent can verify email address?

I don't think there is anything like this specifically built into Convio to do with with existing constituents.

I have noticed the two-step ('double opt-in') registration settings in Convio for new registrations (where it sends them a link to click to confirm their registration) but we don't use that.

Beginnings of an idea...what if you use a survey for this? You could email them a link to your 'email-confirmation' survery. That survey would have a single hidden field set to update some value on the cons record, or maybe stick them in a group. They just hit submit and that would do it.

Not great, cause you shouldn't embed that survey right in the email, but not too bad either.

I can't find the thread, but someone in the community not too long ago was setting up a campaign to encourage cons to update their profile with a reward as enticement. There might be some ideas for you there too.

Thanks. An interesting suggestion. But one of the purposes of this campaign is to add new constituents, so hopefully most if not all of the people filling out this form will be new. Still, you've given me some food for thought. The best solution would seem to be sending an email to the address they give and getting confirmation. MoveOn did a campaign very similar to this, which was very successful, and this is how they did it.
