Patch 19 Gift Default Sort Order Oldest to Newest

So... with the most recent patch 19 the gift default sort order is OLDEST to newest!  If you are experiencing this please call and report it to Support. There is a KB 193210
https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/193210?_ga=2.256298306.892856839.1586796909-2004651713.1585690894  that explains the issue.  When I spoke to support this morning, so far only 2 organizations have been impacted by this.  Please call them and let them know if you are impacted - the more that report being impacted the better chance we have of having this resolved soon.  It helps the engineers figure out what is causing the issue.


Resorting the tab and saving is NOT working for me...

    Same for us Elaine Tucker‍. We opened a case with support last week. They have been in regular contact, but no solution yet.
  • I am having this issue in gifts - and also in the Query tab which is very inconvenient! Anyone else seeing in this in query?
  • We are also experiencing this - any screen where data can be sorted, is being sorted in descending order by whatever the farthest left column is. I've also found the workaround to move the date column (or whatever column I want to sort by) to the farthest left position. But I am also filing a case with Support as this isn't my preferred view and we know it's a bug (since it was working previously).

    We're experiencing this too. 

    Tried to open case with support. Interesting - last screen say "We are unable to submit your case. For immediate assistance, please search the Knowledgebase or Chat with support."

    I received an update this morning that they are closing in on a solution, but still no timetable. For now, use Beth Schmieg‍'s solution. For those sorts to stick though, you may have to exit and sign out of RE and then go back in.
  • I've been having the same problem. I've just opened a case, let's hope they fix it soon.

    I just received a notice from BB Support that with the upgrade to Patch 20 this issue has been resolved. So far that seems to be the case.
