New RE NXT from RE 7 - Creating New Attribute

We recently migrated to RE NXT and when entering a gift in the data base I am no longer permitted to create a new attribute.  How do I do this in NXT?  My permissions have not changed.

    You don't. You create new ones in the database view like you always did. You didn't move to RENXT - you now have two views of your database and some things are still done in the traditional database view.

    Thanks for
    the speedy reply!  Can you help me navigate to create a new
    Appeal? 

     

    As you can
    see from my RE NXT database view we have some very old attributes
    on this list.  I would like to add new attributes that are
    more generic, like Wellness Fair.  Previous database managers
    limited attributes to years, we can always select dates from
    report.
