Question about Addressee tab

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to RE and keep seeing the addressee listed as "name and\\name". What is and\\ and why is it used? Is it related to /the?

I'm pretty sure it's a carriage return type of thing. It would signify a new line. But it only works in the RE:Mail function, and not as an external merge.

So Mr. John Doe and \\Mrs. Jane Doe print out as

Mr.John Doe and

Mrs. Jane Doe.
