Unusable emails

Elizabeth, I'd like to offer a suggestion that you do not want to completely remove them from your constituent records. If you do, and then the same email address comes back in an email append, then you won't know it's a defunct email.


Assuming you have Online Express, OLX already eliminates all hard bounces from your email blasts. But, you can export your unusable email addresses as a csv file from Online Express or Mailchimp (or whatever service you use). You can then create a constituent query with email address "one of" your list to identify those people for updating. Because phone numbers are not unique records, and some people may have multiple emails of which only one address is bounced, you will need to perform this update with an import. After creating your constituent query, create your import file from those people, then match the bounced emails in excel, and re-import them with an "Inactive" mark and explanation in the phone "Comments" box.
