Campaign Thermometer and Reports Don't Balance

Options
We have a TeamRaiser for an event that is next Friday. Our campaign thermometer on the home page says we have raised $39,305. But when I run a Transaction Report for all online and offline donations entered (including Event Gifts and gifts entered by participants and team captains), it totals $28,655. I can't figure out where the extra $10,650 is coming from. Right now, it appears the thermometer is giving a false reading. Please help! Thanks.

  • We have seen this happen when we allowed for registration fees to count as part of the total in the thermometer. Also could it have been from offline gifts?

  • Hayley, we don't require a registration fee when registering. Can you run a report on the registration fees? Also, all offline donations are accounted for. I did discover unconfirmed gifts were not in the report, but the discrepancy is still in excess of $6,000!
  • How about local companies? There is a spot where the company thermometer amount can be adjusted. Not sure if that would affect your thermos, but not your reports.

Also, sustaining gifts are credited for the full 12 months of payments immediately, though the actual reportable transactions have not happened yet. (This is important for fundraisers that have guaranteed minimums they must meet or get billed for the balance.)

  • Brian, I did find $1,500 listed under local companies. thanks. Still missing some, though.

  • Followup question:

Is there a way to see a list of what is included on the campaign thermometer? That would solve the mystery!
