Open Pledges Not Showing up on Gift Detail & Summary Reports

We have several open pledges that aren't showing up on the Gift Detail & Summary Reports any more (we only use RE [hosted] - no FE or any other BB programs). We've tried every option - even loading defaults but nothing seems to work. Earlier this year RE suddenly started requiring that we enter installment payment dates when entering pledges (something that we had never done). This is the only thing I can think of that has changed. Everything shows up fine on the Pledge Report - no problems with that but our boss wants them to show on the Gift Detail & Summary. Any suggestions??

    Do you mean that some of your pledges are showing?  By open pledges, are they pledges with partial payments?


    How do you have your columns set up? My most used report has column 1 Cash (cash and recurring paycash); Column 2 Pledges (pulls full pledge amount - I don't have box checked to just report balances / Pledge and MG Pledge) Column 3 stock


    As to a sudden requirement to enter pledge installments, I wonder if your batch (if you use batch) defaults got changed. To the best of my knowledge there has always been a pop up for installments when I enter pledges. If it's just annual with today's date, I can just his escape. Not sure what change would have caused that for you.
  • None of the pledges are showing. We have some that have been partially paid and a few that we don't have any payments on yet.



    Gift Types Tab:

    Columns set up:

    Column 1 Cash (cash, pay-cash, mg pay-cash, recurring gift pay-cash) - exclude zero amount gifts

    Column 2  Stocks (all - both sold and unsold) - exclude zero amount gifts

    Column 3 Pledge Bal (pledge) - exclude zero amount gifts

    Column 4 MG Pledge Bal (mg pledge) - exclude zero amount gifts


    General Tab:

    Pledge type: Master (I've also tried installment but still doesn't resolve)


    We don't use batch but I will look at defaults to see if I can find anything that seems off.

    If the pledges are not displaying in your Gift Detail and Summary report, it's likely a result of one of the following issues:


    1. Those pledges don't fall within your Include criteria (your query) on the General tab


    2. The pledges don't fall within your date range on the General tab


    3. The pledges were made by constituents you are excluding with your Inactive, Deceased, or No Valid Address checkboxes


    4. You have filtered out those pledges on the Filters tab by the Appeal, Campaign, Constituent Code, or Fund


    5. The only pledges that would display in your report are fully paid off which is why you don't see them in the Pledge Balance column


    I would compare your report parameters against the items listed above and see if you can find a match.

    Thank you for the input but still have not been able to find the cause:

     
    1. Not using a query - I have selected ALL records

    2. I have entered 7/1/17-6/30/18 and have 7 open/ unpaid pledges in my system (and all but one were made and entered in either October 2017 or April 2018)

    3. All boxes are checked to ensure all records are included

    4. No filters selected/ applied

    5. All 7 pledges still have balances owed



    I will reach out to support and report back with findings. Thank you to all for your help!!

    Have you received an answer? I am running into the same issue. Mine are showing in my query, but when I run the report they are not on there. I think it has to do with the fact they paid the pledge balance in a month I'm excluding. Lisa0c8f90f95332a434dea6bca8261ba1a9-huge-sa


    The
    last column is the pledge balance column - it should have $250 as it was open pledge as of cut-off date
