Using emojis in subject line

Can anyone tell me how to use emojis in the subject line in NetCommunity?

I've been able to use emojis using other email service providers, but doesn't seem like it works with NetCommunity. I've been copying the emoji from Emojipedia, which seems to be the most popular resource for this.

I don't think you can. I can't even use & in the subject line without getting a code as a result.

  • That's too bad.

Thanks for getting back to me! Appreciate it.

    Hey Samantha,

You can always suggest the idea in the ideas bank! https://community.blackbaud.com/products/netcommunity/ideas

I have had success, but with only certain emojis, like the sun and the airplane. I used this site to copy & paste the emoji into the subject line:
    https://emojipedia.org

And then I just run test emails before I actually send it to see if it shows up.

  • Thanks Leslie. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Unfortunately, the emojis I tried to use did not work (aquatic ones).
