Importing Member Ids

Hi Everyone-

I couldn't find any documentation on this and support does not think it's possible, yet they are still researching it. Is there a way, using Team Raiser's Import tool to import a Member Ids? I'm trying to import each constituent's Raiser's Edge Id into their Team Raiser Member Id field.

You could definitely import them to the constituent record, which is where we store ours. Look at the Custom Constituent Import.

Are you using RELO or Omatic? For us the RE Id gets added to new Luminate records during the daily sync. We never need to manually update existing records.

We're not using RELO. After reading about other peoples' nightmares with the product I opted not to buy it. I don't have ImportOMatic either. I've built a highly customized LO report that looks almost like a perfect Raiser's Edge import source file so once I get Raiser's Edge Constituent Id into that Member Id field, gift imports are going to be pretty slick.

I heard that. The RELO session at BBCon made it pretty clear. We did go with Omatic though. Expensive and pretty complicated, but you can really do just about anything.
