Does anyone else experience this issue with TeamRaiser receipts?

Hi all,


Last year we worked with Blackbaud to set up TeamRaiser, and during the process they created a charitable tax receipt for us.


Everything seemed fine, until we held an event that required people to pay a registration fee.


Unfortunately we now realize that the receipt Blackbaud made does not pull the right information into the right field when someone makes an additonal donation while registering. See the image below... This participant paid a registration fee of $20, then made an additional receiptable donation of $40, but that information is not coming through correctly on the receipt.




In another example, this participant paid a $20 registration fee and made no donation. The wording would make it seem otherwise:




We're unable to make edits on these receipts ourselves, so we have tried bringing it up to Blackbaud several times. We explained that they created it, and created it incorrectly, but they are still quoting us $250/hour to fix it - and they estimate it will take 5 hours. We simply cannot afford to pay that much for a fix, especially when it was created incorrectly by them in the first place.


Has anyone else experienced problems with their receipts when using TeamRaiser?

Hi Lindsay,


We have a receipt set up that removes any reg fees from the donation amount and receipts appropraitely. It does require you to have Adobe Acrobat to edit the PDF and change the fields. I'd be happy to take a look at yours for you and see how it's set up if you wanted to send me the PDF file through a direct message or something.

I know we don't have Acrobat at the office, but I'll see if I have it at home and am able to edit it on there.
