We are having a problem with our BBNC event registrations.  We set up a giving page that directs our registrant to a single giving site to register for an event.  This event registration does not require users to sign up for BBNC in order to register and this is the first time we've offered that to registrants.  We have completed an event and now the department is wanting a listing of all of the registrants.  In this process we realized that about 18  of the 120 registrants did not show up as an event participant with 'registered" listed on the event participation record in RE.  Several of these are registered as themselves and also a guest of themselves.  Does anyone know what might have caused this to happen?

    Registrants appearing as guests of themselves or being marked as Do Not Register can be caused by users not being logged in during the registration process and typing in different names for the credit card information. For instance, if someone types in their first name as "Bill" on Step 2 but then types in "William" on Step 3 for the payment section, this will result in a Do Not Register record for William.     Tony, Thank you!


    We have had this problem also from time to time but it was stumping us as to why it was not consistant.  Now I have something to look for. I would think that I could eliminate the Guest Of record and just change the main one to registered as a participant to the event. Would that be correct?
