Emojis in subject lines and/or email body?

Has anyone ever successfully used an emoji in a subject line and/or email body?

I'm trying to insert a soccer ball emoji (⚽) into an email's subject line, but all of the tests are simply displaying that HTML decimal code and not the actual emoji.

Thoughts?

How about specifically in an email body? The workaround from the older thread works in subject lines, but only there. Has anyone successfully added an emoji to the body of an LO email?
