    We have a constituent record created for AmazonSmile Foundation and enter the gifts received on that record.

    We created an amazon smile organization constituent record.  When we receive donations, we enter as the below:


    Campaign:  Restricted

    Fund: Unrestricted

    Appeal: Amazon Smile

    Reference: We enter whatever date the distributation was as reference.


    I also handle the financial reconciliation, so I keep record of the Amazon smile distributations along with my bank reports when I reconcile.

    Absolutely - it is a donation from the foundation. The individuals made a purchase and the foundation made the gift.

    We have a record for AmazonSmile that we enter the monies on.

    We too have an account for AS, and we put them in as 3rd Party.

    Hello Meghan,

    We have an Amazon Smile record with a Constituent Code of Foundation.  We enter the gift(s) as unrestricted. Their address should be available on Guidestar.

    I'd love to throw out a follow-up question: We just got our first gift from AmazonSmile. Did you send an acknowledgement/receipt to AmazonSmile like an other standard gift?
